Sasha & Her Pups – A Family’s Fight for Life

Sasha was the frailest dog in her community. Slender and fragile, she was often sidelined by stronger dogs. Before we could spay her, she became pregnant, but complications soon arose. At first, we thought she would deliver naturally, but even after 65 days, nothing happened. When we took her to the vet, we learned the truth — her body was too weak to deliver, and the pregnancy had stalled.

A C-section was the only option. Sasha bravely underwent surgery and gave birth to three beautiful puppies — Butter, Mooli, and Freddy. From that day forward, our mission was not just to save Sasha, but to protect her tiny family too. We provided food, vaccinations, and shelter for all four.

Slowly, Sasha regained her strength. Once a weakling, she now stands proudly with her pups, no longer sidelined but a strong mother leading her family. Together, they face the world with resilience and joy.

Their story is one of hope, reminding us that every life, no matter how fragile, deserves a chance to flourish.
