Hyde’s Story – Inspiring Many More Rescues

Hyde came into our lives in a state of extreme vulnerability. He couldn’t walk properly, his leg was broken, and he had no appetite. We started him on general medication and supplements, hoping he’d respond, but his condition only worsened. Hyde began losing weight rapidly, and his legs showed alarming signs of regression.
Further tests revealed the cause — tick fever. A parasitic disease spread by ticks, it can be deadly if untreated, causing fever, weakness, joint pain, and in Hyde’s case, near-total immobility. We immediately began intensive treatment: IV drips, antibiotics, and months of supplements and care. It was a long and uncertain road, but slowly, Hyde regained his health.
The most beautiful part of Hyde’s story is not just his survival, but the way it inspired us to do more. His rescue marked a turning point, leading us to save 10 more dogs who were in similar situations. Hyde became more than just a survivor — he became a symbol of why our work matters, a reminder that one life saved can spark the rescue of many more.
